Angel's Christmas Costume
This was Angel's Christmas costume in the first act in the show Rent.
I was the costume shop supervisor for this production so I had to oversee the production of all the costumes for this show. For this costume I worked off the designer's rendering to drape out the costume.
The costume designer wanted this costume to be very festive and wanted to use candy canes and Hersey Kisses in the dress. The skirt was suppose to look as if a ton of Hersey Kisses were attached to the dress, and we got that effect by spraying bubble wrap and using it as the skirt.
